Thomas E. Acey, Jr. has been a licensed attorney for over 40 years, specializing in representing large and small businesses and individuals in litigation before state and Federal courts and administrative agencies.

He attended the National Law Center, George Washington University, graduation with honors in 1972. During law school he served as Director of the Consumer Protection Program and was on the GW Law Review. After graduation he served for one year as law clerk for the Honorable Richard Kellam, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Experience

From 1974-1986 he was a member of the Washington. D.C. law firm of Verner Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand, where he specialized in representing transportation companies in regulatory and related matters, and in labor and employment law.
In 1987, he moved to Florida as Deputy General Counsel for the Home Shopping Network.
From 1990-1998, he was in private practice in Safety Harbor, FL, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of litigation matters.
In 1998, he moved to Kissimmee, FL to serve as General Counsel for The Winners’ Circle, Inc.
In 1992, he became Vice President and General Counsel for UroSolutions, Inc.
In 1994 he returned to private law practice, again representing small and medium-sized businesses and individuals in litigation and related matters. Tom now focuses on front end client relations and liaison.
